Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
